"The Art of Social Media" Ch. 5 and 6

Social Media is a fascinating subject, and one of the things that makes it so fascinating is the drama. My social media textbook tells me to "Add Drama" in every post video or picture. I agree with this statement, because the posts I make that have drama in them always get the most "likes." When I post something on Twitter about the presidential election and how I'm pro Bernie Sanders, and anti-Trump it usually gets more "likes." Just today Bernie Sanders tweeted about how he hasn't been "bought off" like Trump when it comes to the pharmaceutical companies. If that doesn't scream drama I don't know what does.

Another drama filled community is one I bet you've never thought of before. The Mukbang community is full of drama and shade between famous YouTube Mukbangers, and ASMR YouTubers. I know you might be thinking there is no way there can be drama between people who eat food on camera for money, but there is. The best at throwing shade on YouTube is a Mukbanger by the name of Nikocado Avocado. He is known for starting and spreading drama, and it brings him fame and recognition. I personally find Nikocado to be one of the most obnoxious people on earth, but he's like a train wreck... you can't look away.

People may claim to hate drama but nine times out of 10 they will click on the link that has the hot gossip, rather than the "how to" link. That's why it's important to add a bit of drama to your posts, because let's face it, we are a society of short attention spans and we like to be entertained.
