Tasty
If you're like me you enjoy scrolling Facebook and coming across the step-by-step videos of disembodied hands creating yummy dishes. These videos are more popularly called Tasty videos and they are so fun to share and reshare. Tasty is a BuzzFeed division that produces and shares content related to comfort food. Every one of their recipes are uploaded on their Facebook page and It's YouTube channel currently has over 15.5 million subscribers as of August 2019. It's also the 72nd most subscribed YouTube channel in the United states. A few videos are uploaded every day and some of them have even been trending. A video of the pizza puff pastry twists has been watched over 146 million times. Tasty Happy Hour is for adults with most of the videos being about alcoholic beverages.
I follow Tasty on Facebook and I have the Tasty app downloaded on my phone which is amazing. The app allows you to save videos and in a separate tab shows you the ingredients you will need for the recipe which is convenient and helpful. Tasty also has a deal with Walmart and you can order groceries within the app and go and pick up your groceries curbside. The Tasty catchphrase is: "Food that'll make you close your eyes, lean back, and whisper "yessss." Snack-sized videos and recipes you'll want to try." In my opinion their logo needs work but it doesn't take away from how much I love the Tasty videos.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI love these videos! I could watch them all day and learn so much! I don't think I will be able to cook and complete the masterpieces! I actually love the logo it is on spot and eye catching!
Thanks for sharing,
Alyson
I have saved more of these food videos than anything else on Facebook. It's so interesting to watch and makes me immediately want to go and make them myself. I have not seen this YouTube but I will have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest while people keep watching ASMR videos these videos are the ones that catch my attention more and I have a lot saved. Once I get done with this semester I will definitely get the app.
